Pubgrade-Sidecar

Pubgrade-Sidecar rolls out new releases of a service to its Kubernetes Deployments when Pubgrade notifies it. It runs next to the service, in the same namespace, and changes only the image tags of the Deployments it is allowed to update; it reports the state of each delivery. Install it with its Helm chart, on Kubernetes or OpenShift.

Pubgrade-Sidecar is still under development.

  • Deployment: install the sidecar with its Helm chart, on Kubernetes and OpenShift, upgrade to versions 3.0.0 and 3.1.0 of the API, and upgrade from chart version 0.1.

  • Code reference: the app factory, the controllers and the errors, generated from their docstrings.
